The EDS Byron Nelson Championship Orange County Chopper
For the 2007 EDS Byron Nelson Championship, EDS teamed with the Teutuls, stars of the hit television series American Chopper, to build three custom Orange County Choppers (OCC).
Building the custom 2007 EDS Byron Nelson Championship choppers was completed in record time and was filmed for the show that aired on TLC on July 26, 2007.
The first chopper was auctioned to raise $70,000 for the Salesmanship Club of Dallas and a second chopper was presented to Scott Verplank, the winner of the 2007 Championship. The third chopper is being retained by EDS for use at events around the world.

Chopper Specifications
The classic lines of the 2007 EDS Byron Nelson Chopper were inspired by mid-20th century design calling to mind the hey-day of Byron Nelson's career. The unique design of the 2007 EDS Byron Nelson Championship chopper also incorporated:
- Elements of wood and steel to represent the irons and persimmon woods of the Nelson golf era
- A chip-based radio frequency identification technology (RFID) tag implanted in the bike's ignition so only the rider will be able to arm and disarm the security system
- Custom OCC designed wheels with eleven spokes representing Mr. Nelson’s unheard of 11 consecutive victories
- A seat custom stitched with the EDS Byron Nelson Championship 2007 logo – forever marking this chopper's place in history
- Diamond cut fins on the engine and other details combined to make a visually distinctive motorcycle
